So far, only 42% of Magnolia Park residents have responded to the 2020 Census Survey.  In Harrisburg-Manchester neighborhood, only 48% of these residents have responded. For each person not listed on the 2020 Census Survey, that is a loss of 10,000 per person over the next ten years. If only 1% of Houston’s population does not respond, that is a loss of $250 million dollars of Houston’s fair share of federal dollars. These federal funds help Houston with new and improved roads, school lunches and after-school programs, disaster recovery, affordable housing, and medical care.
