Mason Park Master Plan Booklet and Cost Estimate
The master plan update for Mason Park began with an assessment of the current park amenities and an inventory of programs and activities provided within the vicinity of Mason Park. This included review of the 2016 Building Assessment on the community center and the 2014 Building Assessment on the pool complex. The recommendations of those reports were taken into consideration with this master planning effort. HPARD provided usage data on multiple park amenities from their reservation master report for 2016 and 2017. A summary of that is included in the Background Information section of this report. The next step was to gather community input. A total of three public meeting was held over the course of seven months at the Mason Park Community Center.
